Slow Cooker: Sweet and Tangy Chicken
This recipe is one of our family favorites. I love it because it's so easy to whip up AND because its so good. The sauce is amazing and the chicken is so tender!
What you'll need:
2 (18oz) Bottles of BBQ sauce
1 (15oz) Can of pineapple chunks
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves of garlic, minced
8 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
Mix sauce in a bowl. Pour over chicken in crock pot. Cover and cook on low for 8-9 hours (high for 4-5 hours).
The chicken will easy fall apart. I use a fork to make the chicken shredded and serve over a bed of rice.
