One of my husbands favorite dinner's is this easy and very delicious dinner! I can't take credit for the original recipe, but this doctored up version I can! This meal is one your family will be asking for again and again!
2 pounds of chicken cut into strips
2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
1 onion thinly sliced
1 (4.5 ounce) can of mushrooms, drained
1 (8 ounce) can tomato soup
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons distilled white vinegar
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
1 green bell pepper cut into strips
3 carrots peeled and sliced
Add ingredients into a slow cooker and cook on High for 4 hours or on Low for 6 - 8 hours. I prefer to cook on a low temp if time allows. Serve over a bed of rice and enjoy!
